Lost wax investment casting
also called investment casting or precision casting.
Lost wax investment casting is suitable for a variety of metals and alloys, and can manufacture complex shapes of castings, including thin wall parts with small holes.
Lost wax casting can produce very precise parts with high precision and high precision consistency, reaching the highest standards in the casting industry, and effectively suppressing errors caused by casting methods.
The surface finish of the parts molded by the lost wax investment casting is high, there is no need for secondary or subsequent machining, and usually only a small amount of polishing can achieve the ideal surface finish, thereby shortening the manufacturing cycle.
Lost wax casting can produce quite complex parts, including hollow, relief, lints and other complex shapes, which meet the requirements that many other casting technologies cannot meet, thus greatly improving the production efficiency and quality in the field of construction and engineering
Sand casting
Sand casting is just one of many metal casting processes. It’s characterized by using sand as all or part of the mold material. Sand casting is excellent for small production runs thanks to its generally low overall costs. The versatility offered by the process is also something to consider. Fabricators are able to create both ferrous and non-ferrous large metal components with a wide range of customization options.
Resin sand casting
In the resin sand casting process, resin and sand are first mixed together. Following that, the mixture is self-hardened through chemical reaction to produce exceptionally hard molds.
Resin sand casting typically produces accurate results that are superior to other sand-casting methods.
This process also results in increased surface strength when compared to other sand-casting options
The nature of resin sand casting can help reduce defects such as sand holes, air holes, and shrinkage.
More flexibility with sizing
Resin sand casting can produce large iron and castings. These castings can range from dozens of kilograms up to several tons.
It is suitable for some medium and large castings, according to the demand, can use wood mold or metal mold, low production cost, widely used in mining machinery, railway parts and so on.

It is a type of evaporative-pattern casting technology that is similar to investment casting except foam is used for the pattern instead of wax. This process takes advantage of the low boiling point of polymer foams to simplify the investment casting process by removing the need to melt the wax out of the mold.
This casting process is advantageous for very complex castings that would regularly require cores. It is also dimensionally accurate, maintains an excellent surface finish, requires no draft, and has no parting lines so no flash is formed. The flexibility of lost foam casting often allows for consolidating the parts into one integral component; other forming processes would require the production of one or more parts to be assembled.
The two main disadvantages are that pattern costs can be high for low volume applications and the patterns are easily damaged or distorted due to their low strength. If a die is used to create the patterns there is a large initial cost.
Shell mould casting
Shell molding, also known as shell-mold casting, is an expendable mold casting process that uses resin covered sand to form the mold.

Shell mould casting
As compared to sand casting, this process has better dimensional accuracy, a higher productivity rate, and lower labour requirements. It is used for small to medium parts that require high precision.Shell molding was developed as a manufacturing process during the mid-20th century in Germany. It was invented by German engineer Johannes Croning. Shell mold casting is a metal casting process similar to sand casting, in that molten metal is poured into an expendable mold. However, in shell mold casting, the mold is a thin-walled shell created from applying a sand-resin mixture around a pattern. The pattern, a metal piece in the shape of the desired part, is reused to form multiple shell molds. A reusable pattern allows for higher production rates, while the disposable molds enable complex geometries to be cast. Shell mold casting requires the use of a metal pattern, oven, sand-resin mixture, dump box, and molten metal.
Shell mold casting allows the use of both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, most commonly using cast iron, carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, aluminium alloys, and copper alloys. Typical parts are small-to-medium in size and require high accuracy, such as gear housings, cylinder heads, connecting rods, and lever arms.
